| Brynarth Country Guesthouseis a 3 star rating B&B and lies in a secluded valley in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains and nestles in its own seven acres of pasture and woodland which guests are welcome to explore. It is a traditional Welsh farmhouse complex set around a courtyard with a central fishpond. The house and barns, of stone and slate, are over three hundred years old and have been sympathetically modified and renovated to provide every modern comfort while still retaining a wealth of exposed beams and fireplaces. A warm welcome and fresh country food with homemade marmalade, local honey and free range eggs, all add to this special place which is off the beaten track. Brynarth is a real retreat, ideally situated for walking, bird-watching, fishing, golfing, touring and genealogy research with the National Library of Wales being so near. The nearby Ystwyth and Elan valleys are areas of haunting natural beauty which remain undiscovered by the crowds. Yet Brynarth is just 10 miles inland from the University town of Aberystwyth and the rugged Welsh coast, giving guests the best of both worlds. The guesthouse is open all year round, and guests also have the option of staying in our 4 star self-catering cottage. ![]() ![]() | |
