A circular walk guided by Clive Faulkner (Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust) around Pumlumon. The walk will last approx 5 hrs and will start off from Nant y Moch outdoor centre (Maes Nant) at 11am. Suitable for walkers of all abilities, but as it will be off-track children under five may have to be carried in some sections.

Great welcome at a good venue with interesting riding, open hill, old railway track and few gates. Come and make a weekend of it. This is the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains and none of the hills are steep!

A magical combination of opera and orchestral favourites!
The Orchestra of Welsh National Opera has 55 members and was formed in 1970. Since then it has become internationally recognised as a world-class ensemble by both critics and audiences. Performing 120 performances of nine operas each year in Cardiff and across the UK, the Orchestra of WNO has performed the full traditional operatic repertoire, as well as more contemporary composers such as Janácek and Tippett. It gives us great pleasure therefore to welcome the Orchestra to Pafiliwn Bont.
The outstanding tenor voice of Rhys Meirion is highly regarded worldwide and his duet album with Bryn Terfel “Benedictus” was nominated for a Classical Brit Award in 2006. Rhys recently teamed up with Bryn again for the WNO’s production of Falstaff.
Camilla Roberts, born in Wrexham, won the Welsh Singers Competition in 2004 and has since gone on to perform at most of the major concert halls of the UK. Her most recent role is in Aida for the WNO.
